My husband left with someone else and hiding from paying child support....?

And wondering if I should I take our 7 year old daughter to buy a father's day card and mail it for her to the only address he will give me, his mother's home in NY? Or, since he's refusing to tell me where he lives because he thinks I will give new address/phone number to attorney general's office should I not remind our daughter that father's day is Sunday? She heard a commercial and remembered and asked if she could mail him a card....I am so mad at him for not wanting to help me with child support but yet I know she loves her father and I'm sure he will be very happy to receive a card from her....he has left with a married tramp and her kids and refuses to give me a phone number and says he will wait until they find him. We have been married 8 years and I've already filed for divorce but we are at a stand still since they don't have an address to serve him with divorce papers! District clerk asks that I hire a private investigator to find him, I can't affort that! He tells me he's not ready for a divorce, he's driving me nuts....thanks.
