Reading the signs...maybe he's not over me?

My ex and I broke up about 7 years ago. (He was my ex fiancee and high school sweetheart of 4 years) We did this mutally while in college, and remained good friends. We have just recently started hanging out again after a few years and we are both due to get married next year. There is no awkwardness as we are all adults. I met his fiancee about a month ago and he just recently met mine for the first time this weekend. He normally acts fine, but he seemed as if something was bothering him majorly. He kept staring at me and was really quiet. Not normal for him. He kept doing one thing. Trying to get questions out there, in regards to my happiness. Even to my fiancee. Like he would hint around trying to get info on our life, and other personal things in our relationship. At one point I realized my new dress had stained the backside of my arms black. He grabbed my arms to inspect as if they were bruises (obviously he seen it washed off) Like he is looking for things wrong?
