Re:ask..................MLA Doentation question... [Great Expectations, Charles ens]?

I'm finishing up my final essay about Charles ens' Great Expectations and I need to know if this is right for MLA doenting... “Yes, Pip, dear boy, I’ve made a gentleman of you! It’s me wot [what] has done yet! I swore that time; sure as ever I earned a guinea, that guinea should go to you. I swore afterwards, sure as I ever I spec’lated [speculated] and got rich, you should get rich” (Great Expectations, Charles ens, 340). I typed the words that the guy said then I correctly respelled the words in parenthesis [ ] and I'm wondering if it isn't needed, and if its ok or not ok to do.
