Rattlesnake Bite Treatment for "Mojave Greens"?
Ice usually causes additional injury and is of no actual benefit. It's been discarded as a proper treatment, along with the X incisions. A constricting band is a good idea, but it should be applied lightly, only enough to restrict lymphatic flow (not so tight as to obstruct venous flow as when you're having blood drawn for tests). If you're not confident about that, you're better off skipping it. CroFab doesn't work so well on Mohaves as with other pit vipers, so you should work on your flexibility, so you can kiss your rear goodbye, should the need arise. But seriously, the best advice of the bunch is to get to the hospital as expeditiously as possible without unduly raising your heart rate. An even better plan is simply not to be bitten.
