NAVY Dep medical question?

In Navy dep ship out in middle or May. I went to the doctor a week ago and had a bump removed from hip, turns out its bad tissue and the tissue is being over active, they want to remove the rest of the bad tissue to fully resolve the problem. By having the rest removed they said i need surgery just for the fact that i am skinny and it would be too painful for me to be awake like i was when they removed the bump. The doctor said she would medically clear me a week to two weeks after the surgery. would having the surgery cause me to get dropped from dep being so close to my ship date? I was told I needed to be medically fine by April first, I m just worried if i keep things the way they are with the bad tissue there i will get dropped, and if i have surgery so close to shipping i will get dropped.
