If I sign a non-compete in KY as an employee am I entitled to an extra benefit?

This non-compete restricts us from working for any competing company for 1 year and does not have geographic limitation. I have read that it is law that, if you ask an employee to restrict themselves in this way, entitles them to an extra benefit like extra wage or stock options etc... I cannot find any supporting doents to this for KY. I know I can just ask a lawyer but this is more fun. Thank you for your help.
