How to remove a broken composite connector from Logitech subwoofer?

This may be a difficult proposition. I have managed to break off a composite cable for the Logitech X-540 inside the subwoofer, which is also the main unit. I haven't been able to pull it out because it is in deep, and can't remove it with a pin or anything similar. I tried removing the rear panel, but the power cord is very taut inside and all the connectors appear to be directly attached to an internal PCB. If anyone has any experience with a similar situation, any help would be great. Thanks!
