Are sororities really all they're made out to be?

So I'm obsessed with the abcfamily show Greek. I also am going to college next year and I wanted to know if sororities are really as great as they are portrayed on TV. Like it looks like so much fun with all that sisterhood and girliness lol (I'm very girly- favorite color=pink). Plus there's the drinking, the parties.... and of course the guys...... is it reallly that great in real life? Also what's the hazing for sororities like? Specific things they made you do would be appreciated.... I'm not sure I can be a dance major and go through that kinda stuff at the same time.....
